while on a border patrol, Mistystar & Russettalon had come across a kittypet and his kit. At first the kittypet was cautious but was keen to join as the clan cats talked of safety and of their clan.
Later on, Beanie leaves camp only to show up again with three kits in tow, now in care of four kits of his own. No one knows where they came from, or if they are his (they are) as Beanie refuses to say a word.
