Well, I'm very much inspired by any artists I come across on the internet
If I see sth drawn in a subjectively interesting way, I remember it and subconciously bring it up when drawing
Other than that..? I try to not be too pragmatic / perfectionistic with my drawings haha
Like, if something doesn't end up looking good to me & I'm getting frustrated with it, I may transform it into something else (which is mostly why I tend to use so many overlay / vivid light layers when I'm mad haha).. sometimes "destroying" sth I hated makes it better??
I know, I know, practice makes perfect as well, but I think the most important part of it is to not give up when the finished [product] isn't as pretty as you expected it to be, right?
Also my feelings play a HUGE part in drawing and the colours I choose, so yeah...???
