Prompt: uhh well. The Nightmare Before christmas, god im such a sucker for claymation. Oogie Boogie has to be hands down one of the best characters as a 'marketable plush '' smh. The nightmare before christmas holds a special place in my heart forever and always, I love everything about it, the music ties everything together in a nice bow. sally's song and oogie boogies song , are two songs i listen to year round just to hit a wave of happiness. my family personally likes ''a christmas story'' but ive never cared for it.
(second choice would have been gremlins and i couldnt be convinced it isnt a holiday because it literally has christmas in the plot hehe. i love gremlins to)

Prompt: Oof, it's a close tie between the My Little Pony: The Best Gift Ever and the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

I like the MLP special because 1: Pinkie pie gets an arc, 2: It adds cute reindeer characters, and 3: It's just all of my favorites doing signature things, like Twilight stressing, Pinkie chaosing, and Fluttershy fluttershying

Rudolph is a big classic for me, so obviously I gotta stick with the nostalgia. I really enjoy seeing all the cool texture of the puppets, from the felt, to the buttery smooth clay snow. The story is cute and funny, and the dentist elf is iconic. My least favorite part of it would be the silver and gold song cause it's so slow, but other than that it's neat to see Rudolph grow and enjoy the beauty of stop motion.

Prompt: my favorite holiday movie is rise of the guardians! it is such a comfor movie for me, i rewatch it several times every year, even when it’s not winter time. the characters, the artwork and animation, the storyline! i love them all so much. right now my phone aesthetic is of jack frost! the details in the animation are absolutely beautiful, sand mans sand, jacks snowflakes, the boogymans nightmares, the itty bitty background things like everything at the tooth palace to santas workshop ugh it’s stunning! every character is lovable and has intrigue, including pitch! here’s to pitch’s noncanon redemption arc <3 the magic system being based of belief is fun, i literally know by heart santas speech to jack when he’s showing him the nesting dolls! the movie isn’t too long or too short but it adds just enough world and character building to follow super easily. i literally could go on forever about this movie if given the time, from the subtle symbolism and motifs to the overall story and plot, the characters and animation, everything!
