How does this fox use its glowing nose to its advantage? Wait... does it even really needs its lantern?

nifty nose usages: this vulpine often uses their glowing sniffer to attract curious animals by camoflouging themselves in a bush, mound of snow or other means of concealment & poking their snout out of hiding. the glow can be seen from a distance & all sorts of little creatures come sniffing to investigate, only to find themselves devoured by a sneaky vulpine!

nifty nose usages: it's hard to catch a rabbit or shrew while carrying a lantern, but Pseudolph has an advantage: that bright, glowing nose allows them to drop their lantern and stick their face down into a burrow and see just fine. Of course, it does also allow those critters to see a way out, if there is one...but, Pseudolph still appreciates their bright nose and the warm glow it provides.

nifty nose usages: Laika uses her nose to play pranks on hikers and wanderers that she comes across in the forest! She loves positioning herself so that all of her is hidden- except for her nose. She then waits until her 'victim' spots the odd flashing red light and goes to explore. That's when Laika dashes away, laughing. Sometimes she even goes further, tackling the prankee and catching them off guard before running off once more.

name: Olive (aka "the other reindeer")
nifty nose usages: Olive uses her nose to guide other creatures that may be lost in the snow to safety. She's known in her forest as "the Guiding Light" come wintertime, and often finds herself with a small entourage of woodland critters following along, knowing they are safe in the red glow of her nose. Though she doesn't exactly "need" her lantern, she still carries it around as she feels comforted by the small, warm flame inside. Plus it doubles as a handy light to start up a campfire!

nifty nose usages: Living in an ancient evergreen mountain grove is a trial for any creature, even more so when the trees shiver with the presence of uneasy souls. Perhaps that’s why Prince was born with his own light- the lantern is a great help, certainly, but the strange glow of his nose ensures that no matter what, he’ll never have to fear the dark.

name: Isi
nifty nose usages: Isi's favorite use of his nose is scouting for snacks in the forest, especially in the snow. He uses it to find hidden berries and other scavenged things on the forest floor, but he can also use is when hunting. It's an amazing tool for distraction for the small animals while he's sneaking. Isi's other use for his nose is actually to use it as a night light of sorts. The light keeps the other creatures of the night at bay, and plus it never burns out like his favorite lantern does!

nifty nose usages: It's useful for identification purposes, especially during a snowstorm. You could see her comin' from a mile away. A standard lantern wouldn't be bright enough (or last long enough) to do that.
