When Xanthe had been introduced to the others as a fledgling, Janus took an immediate liking to them. Even at a young age the had a special shine in their eyes, something Janus could see knowing the two would get along. As the two aged they got into all sorts of trouble, anytime Janus found themselves bored Xanthe would appear ready to cause mischief. From hiding far up in the trees and throwing berries and rocks down on the others, to refusing to get off of the mages heads there was endless amounts of fun. However, every once and a while Xanthe would take it too far, causing some hurt to other owl either emotionally or physically, something that always made Janus look twice at their friend.
