This breed of mini drafts, a mix that was started between Haflingers and Icelandic Horses, was established in the early 1900s to assist in the development of roadways and hiking trails within Banff National Park up in Canada. Their broad chests and fluffy winter coat make living up in the cold Rockies bearable, and their densely muscled bodies make all the hard work they typically do possible for such a small breed of draft horse. Their size range varies, coming in around 13hh-15hh, with the tallest horses being only 15.0hh.

They tend to make a much better working horse rather than show horse and can often be used for carriage pulling and pulling farm equipment. They can still be ridden though despite being great working horses, and have retained the same unique gaits that Icelandic Horses are known for, the 'tölt' and 'skeið' gaits. They are typically hard working, easy going, and spirited horses, making for a great working or riding companion.

In recent years, the breed has come back into the spotlight after it had been more or less abandoned within the park and surrounding areas. Locals took it upon themselves to set up an event during the warmer months of the year to catch the wild horses, know as the "Summer Mini Round-Up". During the round-up, people from across the world can come and watch the horses parade through the main thoroughfare, making sure to keep an eye out on any horses they'd like to adopt after they've all been herded into the auction fields.

- Customs are periodically opened up by artists for a price (can be c$, usd, etc.) that is set by each individual artist. These horses can be whatever you'd like within the limits of the adopt rules.

- Artists may open customs as often as they would like as long as they have provided the two adopts per month.

- Please do not harass the artists about how long your custom may take. We all have lives outside of cs <3 If you're still worried about how long your custom may be taking and it's been over 30 days, please PM me and we'll get things figured out.

- Artists will each have their own individual custom hub and are allowed to price their customs as they see fit. Keep in mind, singular custom prices must not exceed 500c$.

- Payment must be sent before the custom is started, and artists may choose whether to accept that payment beforehand or after the custom is finished. An arrangement can be made between the commissioner and the artist to decide on what makes the both of them comfortable as far as payment goes.

- Please do not beg artists or guilt them into taking customs, and do not order customs when their slots are closed. If this appears to be happening, you will be given a warning. If this or any other harassment in regards to customs continues, you will be banned from the adopt permanently.

- Chimerism may not be requested for customs. This only occurs within breedings or special milestone adopts.

- Edits such as added items, small lineart edits (i.e. horns, cloven hooves, etc.) mane/tail edits are acceptable, but all other edit types including functioning wings, lion tails, and roman noses or dished faces are not permitted. If you are unsure what is allowed, please send me a message before ordering.

- RMMD customs may only have one limited marking requested; multiple limited markings should be tried for in breedings. This does not include chimeric types, which can only be gained in breedings.

- Do not post your form here, but please send it directly to the artist via dms or discord.
