Description
A short haired, black mackerel tabby tom, with green eyes. He has a bobbed tail and a thick, wideset body.

Starlingpelt was born in Rockclan alongside two other siblings, Silverkit and Poppykit. At about four moons old, the nursery was raided by a fox. His siblings were both killed in the raid but Starlingpelt only lost his tail. After this tragedy, Starlingpelt's mother became withdrawn and uninterested in caring for herself. She also became uninterested in her remaining kit, Starlingpelt. This forced Starlingpelt to grow up quite young and he learned to fend for himself. He cared for his mother for many moons, forcing himself to stay busy to avoid spending time with her. Once he became an apprentice, his mother passed away due to starvation. Starlingpelt remained busy to avoid the thoughts of his mother. His strength and perseverance were appealing to his soon-to-be-mate, Bramblingfur and the leader, Snowstar. Snowstar appointed Starlingpelt her deputy about 6 moons ago and he has flourished in this position.

Starlingpelt is laidback and clever. Despite being the deputy, he is rarely found at camp. Starlingpelt feels the need to be constantly busy and can often exhaust himself if he's not forced to rest by Snowstar or Bramblingfur. He is much friendlier and more approachable than his leader, so many issues within the clan are often brought to him instead of Snowstar.
