"Yeah, yeah I saw it!" Sitka piped up immediately in response. Honestly, she had felt a bit bad about what they'd done, nobody deserved that... but her desire to please her big brother was so much stronger.
After all, who had helped Mom and Dad to raise her and her siblings? And gone with her to her new home? Katmai was there for her when nobody else was, always eager to teach her a thing or two about 'mischief' as he called it.
