this flower crown seems to have been a blessing from nature, as it is always healthy and vibrant atop percy's head. the circle of flowers is organized in a way that represents of the progression of the seasons, with bright warm pinks and yellow for spring, darker but saturated tones for summer, cool purple and toasty red-orange for autumn, and blues for winter. percy always seems to show up at the cusps of the seasons, and disappears somewhere for the rest of the year... so the cats he visits always know when the seasons are about to change, even if the weather hasn't quite started to reflect it yet.
