The month of spring, although peaceful in spirit, brings the dawn of a loud and disruptive festival in the early moments. With the passing of the spring migration and each young somo that bring themselves out of nested burrows also brings the coming of ancient gods returning from the earth.
Tor, the god of Ground, is known for causing a stir and this time of year, digging hundreds of feet into the earth.
He's said to be helping Death by collecting wayward souls buried in the dirt, those who have both fallen from the cold of the winter and the ones from years prior.
This causes a constant sound of drilling and shaking as he passes under his yearly path, scaring the kits who just emerged and causing havoc to everything orderly.
During this time, Enid, born to the element of Life, patrols the surface.
Helping the young to gain their strength, Enid finds the constant ruckus of Tor's work quite the issue. The vibrations shake the birds from the trees, eggs from the nests and critters from their caverns (never to return, from fear).
The two working in a union isn't ideal, not at all.
However, this does mean eggs and critters get misplaced.
To subdue the damage, Enid sends gathering members to hunt down the young creatures of spring, framing it as a game and rewarding those who help him in his efforts.
Tor, however, has other plans.
