They say every night of the full moon, the patrons return to homeworld to walk among us. Although not visible to our eye, it's believed they visit us and give us warnings and omens in small signs.
These patrons, who monitor over each element, are said to rotate their visitations every moon. They visit for different reasons, sending different messages to the folk of homeworld. Although walking by our side, they're invisible to the naked eye. The exception to this is the cubs, who's child-like wonder lets them see the patrons in their true, mystical form. Cubs who have seen patrons with their own eyes are told to be prophecy children, often growing up to follow the path of godhood themselves.
Archer, although a rather unexceptional somo, works under the guides of Starlord. They deliver news of the monthly happenings, and tells the gatherings of homeworld information on the patrons and their status.
There's no definitive reason that Archer (of all perosomo) is able to see the gods, much less Starlord, but there's reason for speculation...
