xxwhat are Gacha Ferrets?Gacha Ferrets are a genetically engineered species of Ferrets established in Tokyo in 1965. These critters escaped from their lab and consumed heavy amounts of chemicals, causing them to have a confrontation with the Gacha God. The Gacha God took pity upon them and granted them a new life, storing their souls inside of their Gacha Cheek Pockets!

☆ COMMUNITY RULES ☆These rules consist of guidelines for how to interact with the Gacha Ferrets community.
For rules specific to the functioning of staff,
click here.
General Rules1. You are expected to be kind and respectful to our staff as well as other members of the community.
2. Gacha Ferrets are a Closed Species.
Users cannot make their own Gacha Ferrets without the proper MYO.
3. Gacha Ferrets can be transferred between users as long as this does not break an Artist's TOS.
Our artists have their own individual Terms of Service which can be found here.
4. Gacha Ferret owners must have a Chicken Smoothie account.
5. Users banned from Gacha Ferrets cannot gain more Gacha Ferrets or Gacha Ferret currency through any means. Banned users are permitted to transfer their already-owned Gacha Ferrets to other users or out of the species.
6. Users blocked by an artist may not acquire any Gacha Ferrets made by that artist.
When transferring a Gacha Ferret, you must check to ensure that user is not blocked by the artist of the Gacha Ferret.
7. Gacha Ferrets can be made on or off-oekaki.
Off-Oekaki Gacha Ferrets must have a visible "offsite design" tag on their reference.
8. Gacha Ferrets cannot be co-owned.
9. If purchasing a Gacha Ferret, you must provide full payment to the artist within 24 hours.
If an artist agrees to a delayed payment or payment plan, this does not apply.
10. Guilt Tripping is not allowed in any form.
Gacha Ferret Creation Rules1. Gacha Ferret MYOs cannot be used to create Gacha Ferrets with the intent of transferring to another user (outside of a gift).
The right to auction, raffle, flatsell, or trade Gacha Ferrets is exclusive to staff members. If you make a MYO and are unsatisfied with it or do not become attached to it, you may do any of these things one month after the Gacha Ferret's creation.
2. Gacha Ferret MYOs cannot be used to gift Gacha Ferrets to banned users.
3. Gacha Ferret MYOs can be used to claim artist search entries.
You must have the proper rarity MYO and permission of the original artist in order to do this. When you do this, you must post on the Gacha Ferrets Archive to be approved by a staff member.
3. Gacha Ferrets can be any gender or sexuality and can have any kind of neurodivergence, mental illness, or physical disability.
You may not force a user to keep a Gacha Ferret's non-visible traits after transferring ownership to them.
4. Gacha Ferrets can interact with characters outside of the Gacha Ferret species.
5. Gacha Ferrets can have anthropomorphic or human forms.
These forms will not be considered canon unless they are part of a Gacha Ferret's shapeshifting ability.
6. Gacha Ferret MYOs, Customs, Growths, Transfers, etc. must be logged in the Archive and approved by a Moderator.
If you do not this, your Gacha Ferret will not be considered legal.
7. Non-Gacha Ferret OCs can be transferred into the species with permission of the original designer.
There are two ways of doing this:
1. Canon (Your character is fully a Gacha Ferret and cannot have any other forms (unless supplemented by the shapeshifting power). Your OC's original design/species is voided).
2. Not-Canon (Your character has a Gacha Ferret form but cannot be used in species events, breedings, etc. However, the OC's original design/species is still permitted to be used).
8. Licensed Characters and Real-Life People cannot be made into Gacha Ferrets.
You ARE permitted to make a Gacha Ferret inspired by yourself, your pet(s), media-specific species (i.e. Minecraft Creepers, HTTYD Lightfuries), and media-specific concepts (i.e. Steven Universe or Houseki no Kuni Gems, Harry Potter Gryffindor, DND Paladin).

☆ STAFF RULES ☆
General Rules1. You are expected to be kind and respectful to community members and each other.
2. Staff Members must be aged 13 or older.
You must be unCOPPAed and be able to have a Discord Account.
3. Staff Members must have a Discord account and be in the [url=link]Gacha Ferrets Discord Server[/url].
4. Artists are required to make at least 2 free adopts every calendar month.
Event Adopts, MYOs, Customs, and Paid Adopts do not count towards this minimum.
5. Gacha Ferrets can be sold by any means or using any currency.
You must follow CS Rules regarding monetary purchases.
6. Staff who are not active during a month will be placed on "Ghost Staff" status. If this staff member does not become active again after three months, they will become "Retired".
7. Hiring will happen on the 31st of every month.
Gacha Ferret Creation Rules1. You are permitted to create any Gacha Ferret of a Common or Uncommon Rarity at any time for adoption.
2. Rare Gacha Ferrets can be created every 5 adopts you make.
3. Epic Gacha Ferrets will be released on the 50 milestones and require prior approval to create.
Sign-Ups for milestone Gacha Ferrets will be done through Discord.
4. Legendary Gacha Ferrets will be released on the 100 milestones and require prior approval to create.
Sign-Ups for milestone Gacha Ferrets will be done through Discord.
5. Competitions who do not have any entries or finished forms by the end date will be owned by the artist.
6. For-Profit Gacha Ferrets who do not sell after two weeks will be owned by the artist.
Payment1. Every artist who is active during a month will receive a Staff MYO.
2. Staff MYOs must be redeemed before being sold.
3. Artists have the exclusive right to sell adopts for any amount they deem appropriate.
4. Artists who make 5 or more adopts during a month will receive an additional Staff MYO.
5. Artists who make 10 or more adopts during a month will receive any 2 items from the shop of their choosing, or an additional Staff MYO.
6. Staff who are active during their Birthday Month will receive a Birthday MYO.
A Birthday MYO consists of: 1 legendary edit, 2 epic edits, unlimited under.
7. Birthday MYOs can be traded/sold/gifted.
Staff MYOsStaff MYOs can be redeemed for one of the following:
Personal Breeding (Where you are the Artist).
MYO with 1 epic edit, 2 rare edits, unlimited under.
MYO with 5 rare edits, 2 uncommon, unlimited under.
