Life as a wheel dog has never left 96 without many fond memories. Especially when he was picking out his first ever harness as a young pup. But it never left him with much stability either despite everyone recommending the role to the very spastic dog. He tried his best whenever the spring and summer training sessions rolled around. He really did but poor 96 was simply too much of a hand full. So he was replaced sadly, nobody told him nor explained why he never raced again but he figured it out when his friends, his former teammates would always leave without him. Yet 96 was slightly relieved he wasn’t keen of being stuck near the sled and having to follow orders. If they simply let him try other roles the lad would have more than succeeded. 96 doesn’t really mind anymore, he is simply happy to have a warm kennel to sleep in and to relax with the other retired huskies.
