Prompt: Eagle runs wheel! He's quite large and strong and an eager tugger, so he runs at the back and helps make the sled pulling easier for all of the others. He also enjoys not having to think too hard about commands, since that's on others to follow, and he can just focus on moving forward.

Also they have a small detail wrong in that diagram; wheel dogs generally set the pace according to the Iditarod and racing kennels. Wheel dogs carry the most weight of any position so they generally are the strongest, since they are under the most pressure. I believe that it takes six to eight dogs before the dogs in front of them don't carry any weight, due to some cool physics and vector calculus.
