Storkatten, often shortened to Storkies, are a magical breed of fantasy felines. Descended from Freya's own mythical mounts, Storkies are chock-full of magic and potential. They're quite powerful and loyal companions. While some may choose to live in colonies out in the wild, others may choose the companionship of humans. Many Storkies also possess magical abilities, though require the usage of runes to unlock them.

Does this storkie like their magic? What do they do with it?: Hidden Moon uses her air magic to paint! She didn’t like getting her paws and fur messy, so she started looking for alternate ways to create art. She used her powers to move her paintbrush without touching it, which worked well! But one day in the middle of painting, her canvas got whipped into the air by a little tornado that her angry sister created when they were fighting. Hidden Moon was worried that her painting was ruined, but it actually looked pretty cool, besides the stray leaves and twigs that got stuck to it! She began to put paint on the canvas and spin/tilt the canvas around. If she’s feeling lazy, she’ll just use wind to blow the paint around instead of a brush or moving the canvas. Plus, one of the things she bonded with her mate over were her paintings!

What were their dreams as a young kit? have they achieved them?: Redspring always dreamt of what life would be like without his fear of heights. As a kit he was left out of many activities due to being too scared, and feels like he really missed out on making some amazing friendships because of it. One day when Redspring and the other apprentices were learning how to fish, they were instructed to jump off the cliffside and into the water to directly pierce their prey. The jump would have only been about a meter high, but Redspring freaked out so much that he had to leave and fail his training. The other apprentices made fun of him for weeks about it- that's when he finally decided to conquer his fear. Now, you'll see Redspring happily jumping off waterfalls and prancing around in the treetops; hence the suffix "spring".

Her and her best friend, Squirreltail, combine their air and water magic to put on incredible bubble shows for the kits of Evermereclan! They gasp in awe every time, and Featherflight finds it adorable when the kits try to catch the bubbles!

What drink would they be?: They would be a freakshake! Aka a milkshake with a WHOLE LOT EXTRA thrown in/on it. Vanilla as the base, but with an entire slice of cake, a bunch of frosting, white chocolate, rainbow sprinkles... Yum! ...My stomach does hurt thinking about it, though.

"I want to fly!" Posy squeaked, tumbling over her paws as she watched her mother eat a bird. "I'll fly so fast, no one will catch me!"

"That's nice, little one," her mother purred, gently bopping her daughter with her tail as she took another bite. "I believe in you."

"Really!?"

"Of course."

"When I fly, I'm gonna catch the biggest bird you've ever seen! And- And then! And then I'm gonna use it's feathers- And I'm gonna build my own wings! It's gonna be so cool!"

"You'll do wonderful, no matter what."

...

Posy felt the wind through her fur, letting out a long, hard purr as the thrill of flying filled her chest.

She never did kill that bird, no.

Never managed to fly on her own, either.

But as she dug her claws into the saddle on the back of her bird, soaring through the air with the help of her magic, she let out a joyous howl into the wind.

"This is even better then I could have imagined! I'm FLYING!"

Ehhh... they're.... okay with it. They would have preferred something rarer, more exclusive- Something that would turn heads, like ice, arcane, astral, light... But hey! It's not the worst! They could have gotten EARTH magic... Gross! They much prefer being able to use a quick spell to expel all dirt and grime from their fur- It keeps them nice and shiny, if not also dry out their skin till it cracks... Water magic sounds a lot better, actually. But... oh well.
