Tamryia is a long ruled by mid-sized, sentient hounds. They farm, work, and build communities, but most importantly, some of them wield influence over the elements around them. These individuals are called the gifted and are held in high regard amongst their peers. Some are sent to boarding schools at a young age to learn to hone their craft for combat, civil engineering, or one of the many other opportunities such power could grant them. Others stay in their towns, villages, and cities and learn on their own to either conceal their power or use it to benefit their day to day lives.
While the citizens of Tamryia are look mostly like dogs we'd see in our own world, they come in a wide range of tints and hues that would make them stand out at a dog show. Many of them have also fashioned clothes and accesories they wear to protect them from the elements or decorate themselves with.
Tamryia is a vast land, with frozen mountains and forest in the North and seemingly endless deserts in the far south, but wherever you go, you're bound to find a village or outpost with hounds determined to survive

Basic rule of Magic is that you cannot create something from nothing. Users influence already existing elements to do what they want it to with varying degrees of success.


✦ Fire ✦
Fire users cannot generate their own fire from nothing, there has to be spark or flame already in existence for them to influence. Many users have adapted to plated their teeth and claws and rock and metal to strike against each other to create sparks. They can grow or shrink flames, but shrinking is a lot harder and requires more skill and focus. They cannot shrink a flame to nothing, only control it for a while.

Water users can freeze or evaporate water. More skilled users can influence the direction of water to created waves and tides. Only very skilled users can float water off the ground, and only for a short period of time.

✦ wind ✦
Wind users can influence the direction of the wind and air around them. Some can use this to manipulate sound or generate lightning by manipulating the air pressure.

✦ earth ✦
Earth users can manipulate earthly elements like metal, rocks, or wood etc. Most use this ability to make things like unbreakable steal or incredibly sturdy windows. Some focus on one materiel while other choose 2 or 3.

✦ flesh ✦
Flesh users are a lot less sinister than they sound. The overwhelming majority of them are healers and beauticians. They can manipulate flesh to close wounds or get rid of scars. Though it can be used for harm, it is illegal to do so and those found guilty are dealt with accordingly.

✦ light ✦
Light users are the second rarest form of user. They can manipulate light to create illusions and sometimes warmth depending on the light source. They can use sunlight, candle light, firelight etc. Some will plate their claws in reflective metal or specialized mirrors for combat.

Shadow users are the rarest form of user. They can control shadows and change their shape and size. Talented users can black out whole rooms, and it’s rumored that an extremely talented user can make living shadow….

LL - smooth coat
Ll - scruffy coat
ll - fluffy coat

N locus
N - standard tail
n - bob tail
nc - curled tail

Rules
- follow all CS rules at all times
- Hounds can be traded or sold for real or game currency, but both parties must post on the adopt page
-- Hounds keep their training level even if traded/sold
- After you gain your first hound, some kind of storage must be made to get another one
-- Storage must include your obtained items and each of your earned hounds
- if you want to add fictional lineage names to adopts you can! You'd just have to make a custom to make them "real" hounds
- more will be added later probably
