Manta Dogs are a hybrid of land and ocean dwelling creatures. They were found in the coral reefs of Australia, and are native to tropical waters. A Manta Dog typically travels in a swarm of 6 or more, with a 'job' system. There is always a leader, their significant other, and a healer. The Manta Dogs have shown behavior similar to wolf packs, with how they take care of their young. Young Manta Dogs usually will cling to the mane or tails of the adults in their swarms, since their manta like wings are too small for them to navigate some waters. Manta Dogs have shown no age limits, and some even go to say they are eternal.

A Manta Dog's set characteristics are a fox-like head, a lion's mane, front legs of either a lion or a fox, with fins like manta rays replacing their back legs. They have been seen with many types of tails, ears, and fur however. It is noted that they can come in any sort of design, some being unnatural and others being more natural! In ancient history there has been a few 'divine' Manta Dogs noted, with otherworldly traits.
