basically i have an idea for a project for next year, but i wanted to check interest for it;
A pixel virtual-pet (digimon, tamagotchi, pokewalker) ARPG-thing. Adopts would be anthros and humans/humanoids, and free. (option of artists making some paid ones for their personal profit)
Because 'official' oekaki refs are very small, there would be the option to commission the original artist for a bigger drawing/ref, + artists/community members would be given the option of doing it for free for extra perks. Or you could make the ref yourself/commissioning someone else ^^ And artists would also have the option of already providing the bigger ref in paid adopts.
While there would be an ARPG aspect with some lore + story, the OCs wouldn't be need to be used within the arpg's canon and any arpg 'rewards' would also be given to all community members with time (example: people could wait 1 month since they've signed up on the main page to get a free myo, or they could do some arpg stuff to get it faster.)
There would be a few base lines provided but artists could make them custom lined or rotate the image to have more vertical space.
+ Maybe there would be an option to customize the physical part ?? Or maybe it would be up to the artist?
and abt the arpg lore itself; it's post-humanity so it's just these little digital pals gaining sentience and running wild in the abandoned networks, internet and electronics left in earth
