A group of cats stood afar next to a bush of huckleberries, even though Sootface was far from the berry bush the sweet smell of the berry’s made him have an even more sour taste in his mouth. The grouped To-bes exchanged glances at the tomcat, whispering to each other daring one of them to try and make him laugh and whichever cat succeeds would be the almighty warrior. One of the cats from the group (Batpaw), shoulders high and tail swishing from side to side. A small smirk appeared on the to-be’s face.

“hi, mr.sootface!!” Batpaw greeted.
No reply. Nothing but a simple aggravated stare at the to-be.
“if you were bread what type of bread would you be?” a big smirk grew across Batpaws face.
“That’s a ridiculous question, your not a kit anymore!” Sootface scoffed.
“well I think you’d be burnt bread!” Uttered Batpaw before storming off.

Hawkstar would be a big loaf of cinnamon raisin bread. Something that is a type of acquired taste and doesn’t have a very good reputation. You get excited at the idea of Hawkstar, he’s strong, has a lot of ideas, and supportive. Just like it’s exciting to see bread that is full of fruit and is sweet to boot. However once you get close to Hawkstar, once you eat the bread, you realize it’s not quite what you expected to get. The raisins are good, but they don’t quite mesh with the bread and it’s a bit dryer than you were expecting. Hawkstar helps people and gives them a way to shine, but he’s awful at warrior names, accepts credit for others work, and doesn’t listen when he should.
