Jacenta is a mischievous young Kalon with a knack for trouble and a talent for mischief! She adores pranks and happens to run a YouTube channel showcasing her pranking expertise! Life’s a continuous joke to her and anything that furthers the joke is what goes!
Of course, any joke can be taken too far.
And the worst instance was when she accidentally set her friend Roxanne’s tail on fire.
Now, coating the floor in cooking oil so your flatmates slide right through the doorway sounds like a good idea in theory, but in practice, it’s anything but. And Jacenta doesn’t pay enough attention to science or common sense to know that cooking oil is highly flammable.
Her prank went disastrously wrong when her flatmate Roxanne careened into the table, knocking over the scented candle and everything else on it. Sure enough, as the flames flickered up, licking her fur, Jacenta knew she had messed up. Bad! She rushed to the kitchen for a fire extinguisher, yanking the pin out, squeezing the handle and spraying the foam onto the flames.
When the first responders arrived, she was embarrassed, feeling like a deer in the headlights.
“I, uh, spilled oil on the floor.”
“All over the flat? From the living room to the doorway?”
“Yeah, I spilled both bottles of cooking oil. We keep it in the living room. Uncapped.”
A suspicious raised eyebrow told her enough. Her idiotic lie was way too out of the blue to be believed.
