Prompt: Eradicus only wants to have a place to call home. From the time he was a weanling, he'd been on his own, with no one else to watch out or care for him. Only an amazing amount of luck and a few coincidences kept him alive while growing up. It was pure chance that he had been sheltering in a mountain cave at the time of a lightning strike, and had been able to scramble out before a rockfall covered the entrance.

Now that he's an adult, Eradicus has embarked on a quest to find a union that will take him in. He's heard rumors that there are groups of rabbits, owls, foxes, and deer all working together, and he can't help but wonder if one of those unions will have room for a tired traveler just looking to rest his paws for a spell.

He hopes that one day, he'll be able to settle down somewhere with a partner and have a litter of cubs. But for now, he'll just keep traveling, until he finds the perfect place to put down his roots. [184 words]
