- Runaway princess gets lost in a swamp and meets a witch that informs her that her parents where just using her for her feathers, which in turn healed them and then they sold the feathers for gold which kept the kingdom in balance. (They would use the gold as payment for guards, shop keepers, etc.)
Princess turns to the swamp witch for help with managing her powers and manifesting it so that she can heal with actual magic and not just her feathers.
