Originating from the standard Oriental cat, Iferian Orientals have large ears and wedge shaped heads. They bond closely with their owner and have a high IQ. Over the years, sports were developed for people to show off their Ori's skills.
Though their development, some new patterns and genes were discovered!
Overview
You must own at least one of the parents to breed Iferian Oris.
When using another users Ori, you must have clear proof of permission.
Breeding is done based on genetics.
Rules
- • Each Oriental has 4 breeding slots
• Only a male and female may breed together at this time
• Females may only have one litter at a time. They must wait until the litter is grown to breed again
• Kittens will be grown after 1-2 weeks, and can breed at 2 weeks
• Kittens cannot be gifted/traded until grown
• Deaf cats will only produce the minimum number of kittens
• Forms can only be posted when the nursery is open, and must be completely filled out
• To be able to breed, both parents must have an updated storage thread dedicated to Iferian Orientals
• Currently you may participate in any 2 breedings per month, resetting on the 1st.
- 1 split and 1 personal, OR 2 split, OR 2 personal
• You may choose to do Special Rolls, but it's your choice!
Personal Breedings
- • Both parents must belong to you
• 1-2 kits will be born, determined by a rng (50% chance)
• All kits will belong to you
Split Breedings
- • One parents must belong to you
• You must have clear permission to use the other user's cat
• Either user can post the form
• 2 or 4 kits will be born, determined by a rng (50% chance)
• Each user gets half the kittens. Who gets first pick must be decided beforehand
• If you get only one special roll kit, you may discuss between you both or I can rng who gets it.
New! Perks
- • Once an Ori reaches Olimpian level in the show, they unlock a 5th breeding slot!
• If an Ori is an Agility Champion, their kits will get an extra roll on their time, and the faster one kept
• If an Ori has completed DHT R-3 trial, kits will get double rolls on all hunting until they pass R-3
Note: kittens with blue eyes containing the allele wd on the W locus have a chance to be born deaf
