They have thick manes that collect pollen and beast-like claws, spikes, and horns.

six's gaze snapped to it, his heart sinking. it was time.
federick, his pet chicken, cooed sadly. she, too, knew that it was time. time for the person in the dark's prophecy to come true.
his mind flowed back to when he had the dream that gave him the glass.

he had done absolutely nothing during the day other than watch netflix. when he went to bed, his mind was filled with creativity, and so his dreams matched that creativity.
he was in a pitch black room, with a small light at the end of the room that flickered like fireflies. he followed it, and found a small dark shape sitting there with fireflies buzzing around them.
"who are you?" six asked the strange being.
"everything yet nothing," it responded.
confused, six tried to see its face, but for some reason he couldn't move.
"what are you doing here?"
"i was sent here."
"...by who?"
"everything yet nothing," it said again.
he was frustrated.
"what do you mean?"
"when the glass is full it is time to go. when the glass breaks, hide your face. when the glass falls over, your life is over. unless you find the glowing one."
he opened his mouth to speak, but woke up in a cold sweat.
