Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

Show Name: AH Black Coffee Please
Barn Name: Espresso
Gender: mare
Age: 6
Height: 16.3 hh
Halter: Surprise me!
Discipline: Hunter jumper
Competition:
For a hunter, Espresso is high energy. Always hyper. She gets very excited when being turned out, and loves to jump. Espresso does not happen to be trained as hard as the show jumpers, as she is already progressing well and does not need as much attention, leading to her having lots of time to herself. She enjoys being out in the paddock alone while her friends are out training. Espresso likes to ruin lessons by getting her friends excited when she bolts in the paddock. She loves it when she tosses her head, then takes off, and is stopped by the fencing. Espresso tends to jump fences too to get to her friends. She is definitely a handful.
Espresso once jumped a fence and broke the top panel. She managed to get to one of her friends, and they both bolted around until the ongoing lesson ended. The both of them managed to spook a horse while he was jumping, causing him to throw his rider right after he landed. Espresso is definitely a trouble maker. Along with her friend, Trouble, a chestnut mare, they are hard to contain sometimes. The both of them together can cause a lot of damage. Although they are trouble makers, Amber Hollow loves the duo.

Show Name: Guided by the Great North Star
Barn Name: Polaris
Gender: mare
Age: 8 years
Height: 16 hh
Halter: Something like the night sky, maybe a nice deep blue with little white dots for stars?
Discipline: Mounted search and rescue
Competition: When Polaris gets some time to herself, she just likes to wander. She's always been a curious little lady, and she loves exploring around the stables and stumbling upon things she's never seen before. Some days, it's something as simple as spring flowers poking their heads out after a long winter, or a new bird's nest in the barn loft. Other days, however, she might discover something as exciting as a new arrival to the stables or a new toy in her stall. She's never been disappointed by what she finds, which just makes her little pastime all the more fun.

Show Name:All Over The Place
Barn Name:Ali
Gender: Mare
Age: 8yrs
Height: 18hh
Halter: Yellow
Discipline: Hunter
Competition: Ali has a habit of annoying others. So when she met her BFF for life Mr. SqueakSquack ( A rubber chicken ), they became an unstoppable team. Whenever Ali is not doing anything in her stall or pasture, she'll grab her friend and they'll squeak like there's no tomorrow. None of the stablehands can ever get him away from her, so they just put up with it at this point.

Show Name: AA's Celestial Jewel
Barn Name: Cel
Gender: mare
Age: 7 years
Height: 17hh
Halter: eggshell with gold hardware
Discipline: eventing
Competition:
When she is not training for her discipline, Cel is the sweetest horse in the whole reserve.
The other animals love her and especially the puppies.
When the new litters arrive she loves to lie on the ground to be surrounded by puppies, she rolls in the fresh grass with them and loves to be filled with wagging and cuddling. She is really patient with the puppies, they are so exuberant while she remains so calm that even the mother of the little ones looks at her with admiration.
She is known throughout the ranch for her patience when it comes to being in contact with the puppies, Cel knows them all one by one and protects them as if they were her foals, she teaches them not to fight but she also teaches them to have fun running among other horses and digging holes or having fun with the big ball.
The most rewarding thing about what she does is to see them grow, become agile and strong dogs that win prizes in competitions.
She is so proud of them and does not care if the other horses consider her strange because of her love for puppies.
Cel knows very well the difference between dogs and horses but when it comes to love there is no difference!

**POV as the horse
My footsteps leave soft indents in the dirt beneath me. I walk slowly, admiring the view as I walk along the fence line of the pasture. The rest of my friends stay towards the hay racks or grazing fields but me? I admire the scenery. The trees come to life; birds singing their ballads and the occasional squirrel scurrying up the crisp, rough bark of a tree. The sun sheltered by the dense leaves above, only a few beams of sunlight seep through the gaps. Enough walking will get you to a stream that runs between my farm and the neighboring barn. The sound of water rushing and tapping against rocks and the croaking of a toad or two are music to my ears. I close my eyes to soak everything in. How peaceful it is to get a break from the outside world and retreat to a place of solitude. Almost everyday I walk through the dense trees to get here, taking a few detours if I need time to think. Sometimes, if I’m really still and quiet, rabbits come into view. Oh how I love them. Oh but you know what I love more? The fish in the stream. I count them as they swim by. One time I saw a bright orange one; nearly made my day. But once the sun beams are sheltered fully by the leaves, I know it is time to go home. I take my time walking back, embracing every moment I have in the lavish forest. Most horses think I’m crazy for going out alone just to see the green leaves and flowers, but what would the world be w out a little nature?
I Hope You Become Filled With So Much Happiness
That It Heals Every Part of You
