βwhat exactly is a coridae?β
well the answer isnβt so simple, you see.
A coridae appears to be canine from first sight,
But upon closer inspection you will see theyβre
quite different.They share many resemblances
to a canine, but they have large
Bat-like ears wrapped up in bandages
and their mouths share an Uncanny similarity
to venomous snakes. You can see straight through
The skin on a coridaes chest and youβll notice
they have not one, But TWO hearts, of course
only one beats while the other lies Dormant.
They have the ability to awaken the second
heart upon Critical injury. During some
part of their evolution coridaes Developed
long eye sockets that stretch onto their muzzles,
The eyeball is set back into the skull barely
visible except for the Faint glow emitting
from the pupil. A Coridae's main defense
Is flooding goop out of eye sockets, noses,
mouths, and chest cavities, predators see this
as a sign of an unhealthy meal and are often
deterred by the slight odor from goop
(a very faint smell of infection).
Any unhealed scars will constantly leak goop
until it scabs over, there have been cases of
paw pads or any skin areas constantly
leaking goop without cuts. This goo is normally
the same shade as their insides, which vary
greatly for each Coridae.
