personality; Cassie is an absolutely relaxed and calm, level-headed southern belle type lady. Very dainty in nature and always taking care to be polite to others and especially people she's just meeting. Carrying herself in a careful manner, with perfect posture fit for a true lady! Despite her preference for the higher quality things in life, she's absolutely not one for turning down anything offered to her. A gentle and kind-hearted soul that would definitely sit in her quaint little kitchen drinking tea and eating biscuits, perhaps occasionally speaking with a guest in the parlor.

A meal can be eaten by oneself- but sharing with another makes it better. happiness is meant to be shared, things are not meant to be hoarded. what is the use of words if not to make someone smile, or laugh?

her greatest happiness comes from her cooking- it is a form of art she prizes and cherishes. food is for the soul, she thinks, and it can raise someone's spirits or even bring comfort.

chimene was never good at living for herself. she grows nervous at times, worried of her impact and her place. there is so much good- how can she fit in? how can she make a difference? through her cooking, she grows calmer. she sees the evidence of effort when she gets the flavors just right. and she can see her impact in the way people smile into a bite. so little by little, bite by bite, chimene's confidence grows.
