meal:
Times are tough during winter - so try our sweet and fruity tree sap on a savory pine nut bark! Smothered in the tree sap and pine nuts from the local forest, this winter special is good for any meal, from breakfast to a late night snack!

Bite into our hot crispy tree bark, and experience the earthy barky delight before your mouth is coated in a simple silky tree sap. Enjoy the crunch of the pine nuts that are layered between the sap and bark, and add some nice edible colored flowers for decoration, or fruit if it's available! Come enjoy our Sap On A Stick!

Recipe:
Pine Tree bark - cut into 3/4 of an inch slices
Pine Nuts - as many as you'd like!
Tree Sap - 1/4 cup per snack
Edible Flowers/Fruit - if available, add these to taste!

Take two slices of the bark, warm them up over a fire for about 2-3 minutes, add 1/4 cup of tree sap, sprinkle on some pine nuts, and slap on another slice of warmed bark for the ultimate winter snack! Add fruit or edible flowers for aesthetic.

and yes - this is edible!

meal: The traditional dish of Winterberry Pie seems like a mishmash of random wintery ingredients, which it in fact is. Local winter berries are gathered, boiled down in a pot with melted snow and freshly tapped syrup. The pie crust is traditionally made of acorn flour and a bit of egg. Flavored with juniper berries, the pie ends up as a warm, toasty reminder of the season's bounty. Even as a blanket of snow covers the land, there are delicious foods to be found with just a bit of hunting around. Winterberry Pie is traditionally eaten around the holidays as families come together and convene so each can take a slice of the season with them as dessert. [ 117 / 200 ]

meal: Magma cookies ;;
Magma cookies are believed to have
been one of the first dishes a human
and dragon made together during the
colder months of the year. This dish is
known to all of Rosohax because of the
cookies warmth through even some of
    the harshest weather. It’s believed
to warm someone close to frostbite
    back to their normal temperature
within an hour. No traveler leaves
without at least one during the winter.

meal: res with wyrm tails
babies typically lose their tails growing up and if found, the tails can be made into rlly fulfilling dinners!
mainly only served in winter because of the breeding habits of the wyrms and how the seasons line up with juvies losing their tails

meal: "Meat Berries"
Minced meat is mixed with spices - among them, it is important to include dried and powdered barberry for sour-sweetness and juniper berries for pine aroma - and small balls are formed from the mix. The balls are then wrapped in few layers of pickled grape leaves and baked in an oven untill the fat in meat starts melting; after that the balls are glazed with a small bit of barberry syrup and cooked for a few more minutes. When done, it is served in small wicker baskets, with a twig of mint and dill, so they look like berries!
