Favourite thing to do: Lucy's favourite thing to do is play with the foals.
Since she lives on a farm she keeps an eye on the horses, and she has grown a soft spot for the babies. So now she is always looking for time to sneak off and play with them.

prompt: he likes bird-watching. just sitting outside during his lunch break, munching at his sandwich, no frustrating senior demanding his coffee be made with two spoonfuls of sugar, cream, but not too much cream, and hot, but not too hot, or he'd have to make it all over again. it's nice and peaceful, just him and the birds in their little world. he envied the free things, but even so, he loved watching them as they went about their daily lives. sometimes he imagines what conversations they might have - but most of the time, it's satisfying enough to just relax, listening to their song.

It may sound boring but this older hound simply loves to cuddle up with her owner. The owner of Aurora Borealis adores all the hounds at the kennel she owns. Though her first hound was Rafiya and so she holds a slight more fondness toward her. She lives right above the large kennel compound in which all her service dogs and show dogs reside together. Most prefer not to come upstairs but Rafiya does. A lot of workers, other hounds, and people view this hound as the owner's personal emotional support dog. Which she kinda is that's why she enjoys to come up at night and cuddle with the owner as they both drift off to sleep.

"Great Hounds above, they're at it again..."

Hasan gets a kick out of watching Gaia and Issy's squabbles. Early morning sentry duty, sitting serenely as can be, he can see the two commonly bickering over one decision or another made the night prior. And...

There goes Issy, dodging one of Gaia's nips. She runs across the wide savannah, and practically disappears with her fawny coat in the grasses. Gaia disappears after her. He always gives it an exact 13 seconds. It's never any less or any more than that. And then...

Issy zips past his vision, Gaia hot on her heels. Gaia's never managed to catch up to the little spitfire, but it sure never stopped the tetchy alpha from trying.

He absolutely loves the mornings when Issy gets bold enough to turn the tables on Gaia, cause Gaia's outraged fumbling trying to get away from the speedy lass always spooks the zebra herd.

Serves them right. The lead mare kicked at him and nearly busted his flank out once for getting too close to her foal. Ungrateful demon on stilts.

Midas' favorite thing to do? His job.

The hound works with Kabelo, the man in charge of the Reserve's sanctuary. Animals in the sanctuary are, for various reasons, unable to return back to the wilds of the reserve. Sometimes it is from injury or illness that took too long to heal so the animals are too accustomed to people. Other times it is for breeding programs to help increase the populations later down the line. Or, rarely, the reserve purchases or receives animals that were being sold as exotic pets.

No matter their origin, the sanctuary's animals need a lot of work put into them and their care every day. Kabelo helps feed the animals and Midas helps his handler.

Midas pulls a cart with his custom-made harness. In the cart goes the food for the enclosures Kabelo is checking in on that day. Every morning and every evening, you can see Midas and Kabelo heading out for the feeding rounds along the dirt path, the hound happily trotting alongside Kabelo while Kabelo is deep in thought, scribbling notes on his clipboard.

Midas does whatever Kabelo asks him to do; all the hound wants is to spend time together. Of course, Midas usually gets a treat at the end of rounds. Some of the leftover ground beef or raw chicken from feeding the lions! It's a great partnership.
