Pidge dreams of one day being able to go on a date with a specific girl he finds very, very cute. He's been pining after her for quite some time and though he feels like he's never going to have a chance, he just kind of sits back and watches from a distance partly because he's afraid and partly because she's always surrounded by other guys that in Pidge's mind, are way better than he is. He' s kind of a nerd as well, so that doesn't really help his odds. He supposes that he has at least one thing going for him though, because he has known her since they were kids, and their relationship is pretty much the cliche "childhood friends but one actually likes the other while the other is oblivious" kind of deal. He's aware that it's dumb and cliche but he can't help himself. He often has little daydreams and fantasies of what he might be able to do if he were brave enough or less of a wuss, but he gets scared and intimidated by everyone around him way too often for him to step up and do anything like that. For now, he just waits :')

Helios is a reserved but kind little monster helping out others whenever they have the time to. Behind closed doors however, they're hiding a terrible secret they refuse to share with anyone. Helios may or may not have a secret hate for bright and sunny days. What, that's not a terrible dark soul-shattering secret.... well to bad it feels bad in the little monster's heart. In truth bright days, especially without any clouds, drive the kaiju up a wall and she has a bit of a hard time understanding how anyone can stand them. For starters it can be unbearably hot and a little fluff like our resident Helios traps heat meaning she gets overheated really quickly. She has to crawl to the nearest shaded area and hunker down for a minimum of half an hour before she even begins to cool down. Secondly the sun, for those who may have spent their entire lives under rocks, is very very bright and it's on a mission to make it so Helios can't see a single thing. She loves to run around outside and help her neighbors with anything they need it's one of her favorite things in the whole world and yet the brightness can make even the most fun of tasks almost unbearable. Despite all of the bad things about sunny days Helios refuses to let anyone know about her "darkest" secret because people would stop coming to her if they needed anything. Which for a kaiju who's entire life has been centered around helping other would just be unacceptable and just saddening. Though her friends who get excited about the blinding scorching days that come around all to often will never fail to cause Helios great levels of confusion, but she'll always remain silent so no one ever finds out.
