I haven't come across a way of drawing them that I like... I don't really. have any tricks or anything to have them look lifelike and be expressive.. I feel like a lot of the time they look more like dogs and I can't tell what I'm doing wrong

you did a good job!! i think its the snout and definitely the ears, you should lower them down a bit and put them to the side/top idk how to describe it and make them less ponity ;w; also cats like more round snouts i think the cats in ur stamps r a good reference but irl cats doing poses or just sitting r also good!!
