Welcome to Welara Legends! This adoptable species is based on many mutations. The Deer on Welara can have many alterations. From having lion styled tails to feathered birds wings, and if you're extra lucky you may find one with a Kirin mutation!

• Welara with a white background have already been adopted.
• Welara are to only be gifted or traded for Welara related items/adopts. You may not sell a Welara for any form of currency, real or virtual.
• If you received a Welara from someone, you are responsible for commenting on the original adopt's page with proof of exchange.
• You may own any amount of Welara! There are no restrictions.
• Welara have unlimited breeding slots, though their cooldowns are a bit long, lasting a full 2 weeks!
• Do not complain or harass the staff about things that need to be done.
• Unless the original design artist says otherwise, you may not alter the Welara's design in any way.
• This is a closed species, only artists may make new Welara.
• If you have been banned from the species, your Welara will be readopted out by the owner of the species and the artist of the design.
• These rules are always subject to change, announcements will be made through discord and a news tag will be placed in the news section.

• Please join the discord so that staff may be as informed about events/milestones as possible.
• Stay on time when judging adopts! If forgotten after a week I will judge the competition, if you cannot judge one just let me know! There's nothing wrong with putting life first!
• Regular artists should be making at least 4 adopts a month before making/ordering their monthly staff custom.
• Guest artist role is for those who have busy schedules! Please let me know if you are unable to judge a comp, you may make as many adopts as you can, and make/order a staff custom once every other month.
• Line edits other than manes/tails should be reserved for milestones or special events.
• Kirin should only be made for special events, they are extremely rare and considered "legendary" mutations.
• Please keep adopts as natural colored as possible. You may take inspiration from any Equine on earth! If they have wings, they may be inspired from birds or bats (genetics for these need to be written so lemme know if you want to write them!). Mer-Welara may be based on fish, though genetics also need to be written for these.
