Cats were summoned to go,
Hunting high and hunting low,
Driven from homes to find the danger,
Be it monster or force of nature.
Yet smell of blood from caverns told
us of those prevented from growing old.

Red and blue soon came to find
The monsters had fled in time.
For new scapegoats, both searched in vain
Only to find they'd exhausted pain.

The villagers turned on our duo thereafter,
The bloody scam the driving factor.
The scent of raids had made its way
Into the homes of all who pay.
