RubberDucksy I was hesitant at first about picking this one as the winner, because it was left uncolored. However, no matter what I did, I couldn't stop thinking about this pencil dude and his little pig (who I have decided is an eraser)! My creative mind went wild with how I would draw them and the shenanigans they would get into! I think the pig eraser is the perfect mascot all on her own, and having her exasperated human running around after her is too cute of an idea to pass up! And I found that I just didn't mind coming up with my own color scheme for them. I'm thinking of making the pencil man a red-head, because it's a red-line HQ.
As you can see, I am far too excited to have these two as my mascots I can't stop thinking about them and their characters already. Which is why they had to be first place!

SpeedyJay These two are so cute, it breaks my heart not to pick them. I got so many great entries to this contest! Not only is your art style adorable, but you're probably one of the only people part of this contest that really made the weird color scheme I picked work. I'm not usually a fan of bright colors like some that you chose, but for some reason, they just work on your drawing. I have to applaud you on making such a cute and pleasing design to look at. Maybe they can be the little pig's friends~

starpups16 Your design was probably one of my favorites when it came to a perfect, creative, mascot. An octopus was a amazing idea that I felt suited really well! I love when people dig a little deeper then your typical cat or dog. Although yours did not win, just know I thought about it a lot, and the deliberation between these three entries was very hard!
I've never held a contest before, so bare with me ya'll.
Today I am here looking for a mascot design for my "school". Red-line HQ is a safe space for struggling artists of any league to come and ask for advice to improve their artwork. I'm no professional, and simply do this for the sake of learning and growing. I may be slow to keep up due to busy schedules and fickle motivation, but I do have big plans for my little project.
* It can be male or female.
* Feral, Anthro, or human (etc).
* My head-space is thinking a red, blue, white, and black pallet (since those are usually the colors I use when teaching). However, feel free to have creative freedom in this category!
* A friendly and wise demeanor for the character is preferred.
* Everyone can enter a total of 2 times.
* In your drawing's description, please give a suggestion for a rename of my "school". Do you like Red-line HQ, or do you think it should be changed?
* I am looking for design and overall concept. So please don't shy away if you think your art style is not "good enough". All levels of art are welcome!
* Once the winning design has been picked, you will be payed, and then I will own the design and tweak it as I wish. However, you will always be credited for the initial design.
* If second and third place is open to it, we may just have more then one mascot!
* Does NOT have to be on Oekaki
