This gorgeous girl was as monitored for a bit,along with the rest of her herd and their leader. Though during round up of the herd, this pair and the stallion were the only horsesour wranglers managed to bring in. The foal and mare had fallen behind and the brave father charged right after us to protect them. With space in the swamplands starting to disappear, we safely moved them to one of the wild acres while we attempt to locate the rest of his herd, and make efforts to tame those captured. Ghost woke up, the harsh wind pushing down on her. It was cool and quiet. She looked to see her colt by her side, fast asleep. The stallion lowered his head to whinny to her. Ghost snorted and groomed her foal lightly. The colt jolted awake, almost flinging himself backwards. Ghost snorted while Runaway stood up, his legs trembling. He was quite young, only about an hour old. She whinnied to him. Runaway looked back and snorted, his larger ears dropping back. He looked forward and pranced away, swishing his tail and holding it high.
