Field is an adoption that is based upon building a battalion to fight a monster, known as "The Great Beast", and
its minions. Although it is based on war, there is no gore and hefty topics are avoided entirely. Building your
battalion is not required, but you will be very restricted if you do not. (Sorry, the general needs soldiers.)
There is no base line for adopts, so things could get interesting with different artists' styles. However, there
are only three species available in Field; wolves, winged wolves, and foxes. Their lines will not be anything
beside that except for special events.

The enemy is large, we need many battalions, and fast! You will have to be a commander for me,
lead your crew well, no matter what comes. Have courage, you are the front lines in protecting
our world!

Here's the first adopt of Field! In order to kick it off fast, this will end tomorrow! And, remember, artist
applications are always open for submissions!

Syn picked up his tattered leather diary, settling down upon his bunk bed and drawing out his quill pen. As he opens it up, he begins to write in neat, cursive letters. All his thoughts and hopes and dreams. All his ambitions and what he hopes will become of him and his future soldiers:

Diary Entry #1:

All I can think about is my ambition. My ambition to be number one, my ambition to impress and strike fear into the very souls of the enemies. The hope that I will live up and fulfill father's pawsteps. Of course, all my thoughts are haunted by the lurking failure. Returning to my family, without any money or hope. Being cast out upon and pointed at as the commander who could not control his men. Power is the key, and of course the cunning intelligence and strictness it takes to be commander and take control and train my soldiers. I hope I get half decent soldiers mind you.. Ah well, I guess we'll have to see! First day as commander, I can't let anyone see this diary. Not that I'm embarrassed or anything, no. It's just- ah nevermind that. Goodbye for now diary. I'll update you soon..

"Perk up soldier". Those words rang through Rory's ears as he stared down at his battered and bleeding paws. It had been nearly 20 moons since The General found him. Rory hadn't been in good shape then, barely more than skins and bone, still grieving the death of his brother, fumbling through life like he was on autopilot, and wondering if it was all worth it. It hadn't been until The General took Rory under his wing and gave him purpose again, that Rory finally took his life back. The General had one purpose, and that was to vanquish The Great Beast. The General had plans to pull together a team of warriors to kill the monster once and for all. Rory was just the first of soon to be many loyal soldiers to contribute to the cause. But, Rory could care less about that. Yes, it was a great honor but, Rory just wanted to be The One to deal the final blow. He had to be The One. He had to avenge his brother, he couldn't let Wes down. He didn't care what the cost to himself would be. He would make things right, if it was the last thing he did.

"Move it soldier!" The General barked from up ahead. These exercises, or "training" as The General called them were one of the most difficult things Rory had ever done. The jagged earth bid into his pads, drawing more blood. Rory gridded his teeth and pushed on. The General's words came back to him "this is war soldier!" "This is war"" Rory barked at the top of is lungs. "This means war."
