crickets, although it seems they are much more
developed and come in various color combinations.

why the mask? ;; He's afraid of others' reactions. Garvey has a real nasty scar that he got from a bike accident when he was a kid, and it covers almost his entire face. People akways flinch back when they see him, and its sort of become a small fear of his.

"It's to protect me," he says confidently, crossing his arms over his chest.

"...from... what?" you inquire, not exactly sure what this oddball was talking about.

He rolls his eyes, as if you asked him what colour the sky was. "From aliens, duh!" He gives you an odd look before getting up from his chair.

"Look, maybe you don't see it or believe it, but trust me, they're there. They're watching from the corners of your room, behind your furniture, even in the bushes when you don't realize it. Maybe you haven't seen them yet, but just you wait, you'll see it eventually-- but when you do, it'll be too late. Who knows what these creatures are capable of, but I sure as heck know that I don't want them knowing who I am or what I look like!"

Reaching into his neon-green backpack covered in stickers and patches, he pulls out another crumpled tin-foil mask. Clearly, it was shoved behind a bunch of alien books and magazines. Skittering closer, he hands you the mask.

"Here, I got one for you, too. Keep yourself safe-- I can't let my best friend get captured by aliens. Or even worse! You might be cloned and then who knows what'll happen? Maybe that's how they'll get to me, they'll find me through my best friend." He ponders, contemplating his last point seriously.

"You mean your only friend," you retort while smiling as you give up and slide on the tin-foil mask. "Okay, fine. I got the mask. Now what?"

"Oh, this part is simple. We hunt them down."

why the mask? ;; Mobii is a doctor, while working on patients he might need to cut an artery or smaller yet juicy vein so to keep from getting diseased and dirty he wears disposable masks in case he might need to preform an emergency public surgery. Of course, he'll tell you he's going to rob a bank, or perhaps he might have mistaken the day for halloween- but truth be told he is a very good boy who is out to help others.
