Prompt: In all relationships, Hani wants someone that understands her or is willing to learn - whether it be newly set boundaries, needs and wants, etc. She can't imagine herself being with someone who couldn't do such a basic thing. She believes both people need to be able to give what they receive in some way, shape, or form; love is a language and not everyone gives it back the same. Hani wants a friend in a relationship, and friends that embraces each other's weirdness and quirks. "You aren't close enough if you can't laugh at each other." It's why she's so close with Silverheart and Ravenfeather - they can mess about and not get judged.

Splashblaze is a rather brash and hot-tempered she-cat, thus tends to have short patience. She got quite the tongue and doesn't mind to speak up if she dislikes something or someone. Most other cats don't exactly prefer a tough and stubborn, hell-bent on getting her own way kinda gal.


"A friend? Pft, I never needed friends thus far and likely won't need them now. Not like anyone would want to stay around anyways. However, a partner even?! This is getting hilarious! As if I'd take on a partner if I can't even manage to find a simple friend..."


She'd never agree to need either of these, setting up her strong and independent facade. In fact, she doesn't see herself worthy of either. All she ever wanted as a kit was someone close to her she could trust, lean on for support and merely be around. Splashblaze needs a friend or partner she can rely on, who calms her down and can stand to listen to her venting her anger or disapproval of something.

Prompt: When looking for a friend, Leopardkit only has two requirements; a sense of adventure and the ability to keep a secret. Leopard has a grand sense of adventure already, and is seeking those to share his adventures with. While there are plenty of other things he could be doing, he loves adventures the most.

The other must have trait he looks for in a friend is the ability to keep a secret because, as you can imagine, he isn't supposed to be going out on these grand adventures of his. Another reason for wanting someone to keep a secret is so he can confide in them without worrying about being told on. This is a big fear of his, primarily since his mother is the leader of the clan. He can get in a lot more trouble for word leaking out about what really goes on in his life than other kits his age simply because of his mother's status.

“Partner?” She sneered, glaring down at the kit she was treating. “I’m a medicine cat, the day I take a mate is the day you can lay down and die,” she growled as she continued wrapping the bandages.
“But... but don’t you want kits?” Pipped Starlingkit nervously, looking stricken.
“Kits? Your a handful enough yourself I don’t need even more trouble running around. Now sit still!”
Starlingkit looked at her with huge eyes, voice hurt, “well.. what about a friend then? What type of friends do you like?”
Rivervein sighed, fur flattening and pushing away the guilty feeling she had for snapping at the kit. “Your a pretty good friend, my cute little Birdy,” she told the kitten, forcing out a purr in hopes to cheer her up.
Starlingkit’s eyes got comically wide and Rivervein couldn’t hide a small smile at the kits happy giggling.
“Don’t worry Rivervein, your my friend too!”
