What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Welcome to new event here at Khimaira Friesians where we follow a different tune from our normal adopts!

It's time to Face the Music and march to a different beat by inviting these singing stallions (and mares) into your stable.

Find the harmony to your melody by adopting horses themed from your favorite songs!

General Rules:
-All basic Khimaira Friesian Rules
-Please keep any song suggestions or songs done CS appropriate.
-Songs with bad words are alright as long as you find a radio edit version when suggesting it.
-Songs can and will be denied if they violate the rules too much.
-If you are an artist and want to be added, post below
-If you'd like to suggest a song, please be aware you might not win that adopt.
-You can enter for as many as you want, but people who haven't won a Face the Music horse will be prioritized over you so that everyone can have a chance at getting a horse!
-All songs suggested must have a music video, or at least lyric video, where artists can draw inspiration from. If there is a live performance of that song, that's ok too.
-Just because you suggest it doesn't mean it will be done
-You can suggest a song someone else has already suggested, in fact, if you see a song someone has requested that you really want done, you should request it, because songs with more requests will be prioritized over songs with minimal requests.
-Be respectful!

Artist Rules:
-Please limit yourself to only ONE rare adopt, per artist, for this event. All other horses must be uncommon and below.
-Each horse must have an item that relates to the music video/performance, and it must be a small item. Things like bracelets, bangles, earrings, necklaces, and other small accessories like such are ok! Full outfits or even just a shirt are not.
-Hair dye, coat dye, and hoof dye are fair game for these adopts and are encouraged! Please note these are simply cosmetic and cannot be passed to foals.
-Please keep any song you want to do CS appropriate. You are more than welcome to do a song you like, and do not have to one that someone else has suggested
-Artists are allowed ONE CUSTOM that can be any song that hasn't been done and hasn't been suggested.
-You are free to enter other artist's competitions if you see one you really like
-Prioritize songs on the Billboard Hot 100 and 200 (if you feel like looking at more songs on the album as a whole) as well as suggestions before songs you think of on your own.
-Have fun!
