What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

He’s actually pretty good at it believe it or not. And he’s famous for his paintings. The whole neighborhood knows about his paintings and everybody is always trying to buy them. Helios also loves to cover himself and other horses in paint and it will often lead to all the horses throwing pain at one another if left alone long enough.
That’s why Helios has to either paint in his stable or someone has to be watching him at all times.

Despite his warrior's appearance, he is quite patient and gentle, and he loves to spend much of his time around any kind of children, whether it is a young foal or a human child. Young foals always love the game of chase and letting them chase him around the field or play hide and seek gives him the playful spirit he never wants to lose to adulthood. He has even had the mixed pleasure and confusion of interacting with the foals of donkeys. While they are feisty little things, they also love to play on occasion. With human children, they are so fragile in comparison, but so curious. Most of the time with them, he will lay down to allow them to climb onto his back and nibble on their soft little wisps of hair and chubby hands. It is a wondrous feeling to be trusted by a creature so small, and he loves to sun himself with these little creatures drifting to sleep on his side.
