Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. these large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

prompt; The weirdest, most strangest, most peculiar thing Hex has ever seen another flit do in public is.. well, it wasn't just the one flit. Whilst he was out at the local village faire, celebrating the medieval times with stalls, dragon statues, and flits in knight armour, there was a terrible gust of wind that rushed through the valley. It was so strong that it pulled the bouncy castle, full of little flitlings, right off of it's support strings! Tearing down a tree as it went, the noise was horrific and the fear so strong he could smell it from a few miles away.
The object flew nearly 50 feet in the air and sailed above the forest, luckily a few winged flits were about to rescue the young flitlings before anyone could fall or get hurt. Though one small flitling, who he never learnt the name of, wasn't caught by another flit, instead he grabbed one of the leaves blown up with the castle, and used it as a parashoot to bring himself safely down to the ground.
To this day they have never had another bouncy castle at the faire.

a rock or something. They're actually agender.

Wow. The weirdest thing Aqua Luca has seen another flit do in public?
That's hard. Maybe the flit who was break-dancing in a monkey onesie.
Or the one who covered themself with water and glitter and chased others.
But probably the weirdest thing they've ever seen another do in public would
be the "statue flit", as they've come to think of it. This particular individual
had spray-painted their whole body gray and sat on a rock in the middle of a plaza
holding a paper cup with a few coins at the bottom. As Aqua Luca and their
family passed by, the flit jingled the coins and quietly hissed a "Pssspsspsspsssss"
noise in their direction. The flit got quite a few funny looks for their creepy act,
which also included an unsettling smile and a shaky flick of the tail. Nobody really
did anything but slow down to stare at the flit(who, apparently, was trying to get
money) and move on.

Pandalus had seen many strange things in her life, but none
of them could quite compare to what she was observing
now. Dozens of Flitz danced through the streets, but that
wasn't the unusual part. What was truly mind-boggling was
the fact that every single Flit was dressed up in a horrible,
terrible, absolutely eye-burningly-bright dragon costume.
Who in their right mind would ever subject themself to
such torture? Pandalus thought, watching the crazy
Flitz dance their way through the streets in their
uncomfortable-looking outfits. The bright colors shone in
the sunlight, creating dazzling waves of color on the walls
of nearby buildings. It was, in a way, a beautiful sight, but
Pandalus was distracted from the beauty by the fact that
the lights were physically burning her eyes. The Flit ran
in the opposite direction of the parade, shielding her eyes
from the onslaught of light with her tail. Pandalus later
learned that the day was supposedly "National Colorful
Dragon Day." She's fully convinced that it's made-up.

The weirdest thing Xara had ever seen another flit do was eat cooked food. Because she grew up away from normal society, Zara lived off of raw foods, generally plant growth and fungus. Watching other flits, Xara realized that different societies interact with their environments in interesting ways!

Xara couldn't wait to tell her family in the caves!

prompt; Anino has seem some weird things in her life, but this encounter just has to take the cake. Anino often “saw things”, but these hallucinations were normally harmless and, honestly, kind of funny. This was one of them.
She was sitting in the highest branch of a tall tree in the woods, when she saw a small, pure white flitling walking around on the forest floor. She could tell by how it walked that it was a hallucination, so she decided to watch what this one would do.
This hallucination, however, noticed her and waved its tail at her. She shrugged and waved back. The ‘flitling’ decided to join her up in the tree- by sprouting bird-like wings and flying up. (that’s the weird part, by the way-) It sat next to Anino, its wings disappearing, and started talking to her. For some reason, Anino kept the conversation going- they were mostly talking about Anino’s love for nature. When the hallucination disappeared, Anino was admittedly quite sad.
