Prompt: The sun began to set, the sky hues of orange and purple. My favorite time of the day. Despite both my name and colors, the evening was my favorite time of the day. There was something mysterious, even magical that happened when the moon began to rise. I didn't know how to explain, I just felt it. Maybe it was the beauty, as the world was shrouded in darkness. Maybe it was the peace, with the cool breeze. Maybe it was just how something felt magical in the air.
Whatever the reason, the evening was my favorite time of the day.

The small, creature peeked it's head up and out of it's home, small nose wiggling as it sniffed at the air. The sunlight shined down bright upon it's orange-hued coat, mimicking the colors painted across the sky.

It's tiny mouth spread in a large, arching yawn as it's body stretched, watching the sun slowly rise above the mountains, enjoying the sounds of birds starting to come to life. This was her favorite time of the day. When the grass still smelt of dew, when the creatures all around began to slowly rise or fall asleep.

It was magical, watching the world go from quiet, dead silent in the night, to a rush of sound and calls, the way the orange light cast a warm glow upon everything in the area-! ... She sighed. This was perfect. Her little eyes closed, a smile tugging at her small face as she burrowed back into her cup.

This was perfect.
