The first ever discovered Mimps were Jean and Rose. They were found wandering together around in a snow cave at Mount Elbrus, which is considered to be the highest mountain in Europe. Amazed by the species, reasearches continued to look if there were more of them. It has been confirmed that mimps are found throughout the mountains of russia. They are most commonly known to be scattered around Mount Elbrus, Mount Dzhimara' and Belukha Mountain. Even though they are not so many, the species continues to grow until now.
After keeping an eye on mimps for a long time, Scientists now know the reason behind their very unique features. They are commonly known to have short fur, but they get warmth that radiates from the 'glows' found in their front legs and tail. They can adjust the warmth by making the glow brighter, and turn it off when it isn't needed. Mimps also use their glow to navigate their way at night to hunt, as they're nocturnal.
