His favorite thing to do when alone is plotting revenge against humans. How DARE they look down on him?? He was WONDERFUL and MAGNIFICENT compared to those lowly beasts. He should be looking down against THEM, not the other way around!! It was outrageous, and so Spinfire hatched a plan. Of course, he couldn't let those no-good humans see him do this, or his plan would be ruined!! He did drew out a diagram in his spare time, and observed how the humans acted from a distance. He would make sure this plan would succeed, and so he spent every second of his spare time alone working on it. Those stinky humans wouldn't know what hit them until it's too late!
