Facts
Foxifae are fox-sized mammals that have been recently discovered in many different environments around the globe. Usually shortened to “foxi,” the furry marsupials typically are found to keep an item in their pouch that has special meaning and value to them. While there is a common and ‘default’ breed of foxi, several different subtypes with traits adapted to their specific environments have been observed and more are being discovered all the time! They produce a fairy-dust of sorts that allows for brief flight and levitation despite their wing stubs not being fully developed. They are social animals that exhibit very human-like emotions, and even more surprisingly, perform selfless and heartfelt acts of kindness for and to support not only their fellow foxi, but other animals and even humans as well. They thrive off the affection and care of each other and it seems that family is by no way limited to blood in their communities. In fact, it seems that they've even began accepting complete outsiders into their communities, allowing for unprecedented opportunities for research of these fascinating creatures. what is her pouch item?
eliana's pouch item is a dark orange feather. the tip is stained black due to being used frequently by eliana for the sake of writing, similar to old fashioned quills. she came across this item one day while venturing through a desert alone, isolated in the midst of it all, feeling as if she were the only one left on the planet. she had been alone for most of her life, and for the longest time, found herself incapable of experiencing joyful emotions, leading a life of loneliness and isolation. this made the world appear colorless to her.

this feather landed upon her muzzle one day, and something just struck her core. the world lit up. perhaps it had been becuase a feather had came to her, and she hadn't been the one chasing it, the opposite of all of her attempts at socializing. eliana often thanks this feather for coming across her, for if it hadn't, she would've still been wandering, lost and isolated from society.

what does it mean to them?// Aze loves travelling to different countries and learning about the amazing cultures that take place in every part of the world. To remember their trips, Aze brings a stamp pad and will ask the leader or inhabitants to stamp their print on a free page: they then write down all the stories and interesting tidbits they've learned. So far, Aze has made it to 7 countries, but is already on their 5th stampbook.

what does it mean to them?//
When Arunika was younger she lived in a small village in Africa off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. She lived with her mother and aunt at he time because her father was off protecting our village from invaders of neighboring countries. Arunika loved to make jewelry. She made pendants, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets like no other. One day she was sitting inside making a beautiful bracelets for her mother and father to wear, when her mother rushed in suddenly with a worried look on her face. Her mother started to tell Arunika that she needs to grab supplies and run. Her mother stopped her quickly before they left and turned Arunika around to face her. She gave Arunika a beautiful necklace that her mother always worn. This necklace has been apart of our family for generations passed down. It is said to hold magic, but Arunika has never seen it in action. Other Foxifaes in the village say the last time she used it was to fight off a monster in the dunes before Arunika was born. She placed the pendant around Arunika's neck and told her to run far and she will try to help the survivors escape. That was the last time Arunika saw her parents. She has kept the pendant very close to her ever since and placed it in her pouch where it will forever be safe and never lost.

What does it mean to them? // Krisha bought the ring for herself from a small jewelry shop
in a small village she visited when she was young. She has been given a small amount of sp
ending money by her older sister, who she had been traveling with, and fell in love with it
when she saw it. The owner of the shop told her that it is supposedly blessed by a goddess
to bring luck and good fortune to the owner - Krisha doesn't know if she truly believes that
or not, but she carries it around as a sort of lucky charm anyway. She would wear it, but th
e orange topaz gems don't go well with the red rubies on the rest of her jewelry, so she jus
t keeps it in her pouch instead.
Extra // One of Krisha’s favorite things to do ever since she was young is watch the sun rise
and set. She believes that dusk and dawn are the most beautiful and magical times of the d
ay, especially the moments right as the sun is rising or setting on the horizon. Every day, no
matter where she is or what she’s doing, she always makes sure she has the time to sit and
watch those few beautiful moments that go so unnoticed and unappreciated by most. Her favorite place to watch them from is at t
he edge of a high cliff overlooking the ocean not far from her home, it’s always peaceful there, and the way the light reflects off t
