what is she proud of?:
ashley the lion; ashley the confident, outspoken lioness, being afraid of coming out to her friends? it seemed impossible; yet it was true. ashley loves her friends will all her heart, but could she trust them?
ashley had gone through alot in her lifetime, including her loss of innocence. as a child, she had not realized there was war, that there were homophobes, that there was any evil in the world; the only worries she had then were trying to not forget her homework for school. yet when ashley realized the reality, she became scared of being hated for who she was.
ashley had been trying and trying for months to tell her friends the truth about her identity, even sexuality, and how she felt. yet when she decided it was time, ashley felt such a great relief; it was one of the greatest times in her life.
ashley's friends were very supporting, and the lioness felt an even greater bond between them; she loved them will all her heart because they accepted who she was.
so, to answer the question? ashley is proud of finally coming out.
