This dog shows agouti. Agouti is represented by aw. On the A locus, it is only recessive to Ay. If the dog was Ayaw, it'd be sable. If it was awat, it's agouti.

Agouti looks a lot like sable. But where the individual hairs are a single color in sable, each hair has both red and black in agouti.
