what are you proud of ? : I was praised for FINALLY showing some improvement in my strings ensemble! I have been practising my pieces REALLY HARD as I am new and am way behind in terms of playing.

I have both performance anxiety and social anxiety, pretty bad too. but the best way i've come to get over it is to just throw myself into stressful situations, right? as then you learn to have to deal with it in the moment? it's been good, a month or so in now and we've had two games, our third tomorrow, lost both but im proud to still be trying and to put myself out there. I keep my head high, even if i can feel my legs weakening and breath shortening. deep breathes and half glass full thoughts and i'll do my best. I'm proud i've gotten over the lump of putting myself down and believing ill never be able to work a job or even order food at a restaurant.

what are you proud of ? : I’m proud of finally learning to stop pushing people away from me when I need them most. It’s always been difficult for me to let people help me with my sadness and anxiety but I’ve learned to let people help... most of the time. But I try my best to get through things and I’m really trying to keep people with me, I’m getting better.

what are you proud of ? : Recently I switched schools and everything has been so different to me. I run on varsity for both cross country and track and because of the rules on switching schools I can't run varsity for a whole school year. Currently I'm the third ranked runner in the whole state and I am running on JV. I am not allowed to run at a state qualifying race or state. At our region meet (for xc) I ran on JV and posted a time that would of won our region meet but I couldn't win because I was on JV. Instead of winning first place I was awarded region MVP, which was amazing because it was the first time ever in our state that a JV runner was awarded region MVP. Its hard because I am trying to get college scholarships for running but I can't run on varsity for colleges to really notice how fast I am. I'm proud of myself because I accomplished many goals throughout the season without the thought of being on JV draw me down.
