This king thought he was all high and mighty, just because he was sitting on a throne. Instead he just bowed, "Thank you," and turned and left.
The guard, a orphan from a noble blood line, Kristoff Vindict Alexander, watched the man go with unease. It didn't appear to be anything more than a beggar of the streets, yet... he carried himself with such confidence and purpose. "I don't trust him." He told the king. He paused, then made up his mind. He would follow this mystery man from the mountains. He couldn't him hurt the princess.
