what is a rosa eublepharis?
these geckos are rather large despite what they might look like!
they are roughly the size of a lion cub and can weigh up to 100
lbs! they originated in the deserts of Arizona, Texas, and areas in
and around northern Mexico. they are incredibly shy creatures,
and therefore very difficult to catch. the petals around their
necks can be compared to silk, the soft texture being popular in
high fashion. however the population of rosas have gone down
quite a bit over the past few years, due to poaching for their
petals. the fine for poaching has reached unprecedented amounts.
